Boat and Watercraft

We offer the following for rental at Krokane Camping:

Pioner 15 with a 15/20 hp Yamaha engine
Arronet 18 with a 130 hp engine and a plotter
Oien 620 F with a winch and a plotter
Jet Skis – Seadoo and Yamaha, both with 260 hp
Kayaks and Canoes

Additionally, we offer scenic jet ski tours with an instructor.
As an approved tourist fishing enterprise, you can export up to 18 kilograms of fish from Norway.

Krokane Camping is the perfect place to enjoy water activities while staying compliant with local fishing regulations.

On site activities and rentals

At Krokane Camping, we provide a wide range of activities and rentals for all ages:

Free pedal cars (go-karts) for children to enjoy.
Electric bikes available for rent.
Fishing opportunities right from the shore, with boat rentals available for fjord fishing. For those interested in sea fishing, we offer boat and guide rentals.
Crab pots available for rent.
Free access to our on-site fish smoker** for those wishing to smoke their catch.
Disc golf, cornhole, badminton, and horseshoe games available for outdoor fun.
At the reception, you can access a variety of indoor games, including darts, chess, table billiards, air hockey, and numerous board games.
Around the camping area, there are many excellent fishing spots, along with a dedicated space for cleaning and freezing your catches.

Beach

The area is well equipped for swimming.
We have our own sandy beach and a bathing cove with rocky cliffs.

Brandsøyåsen

From the summit of Brandsøyåsen, 293 meters above sea level, you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view over the city of Florø, the surrounding mountains, the fjord, and the beautiful archipelago to the west. Brandsøyåsen is a popular viewpoint in Florø, easily accessible on foot or by bike. Several trails lead to the top from different starting points, with most of the routes well-marked, making navigation simple.

Day Trips and Excursions

There are great options for day trips “out to the islands” using the local ferry. Download the “Entur” app to easily plan your island day trips.

It’s possible to arrange a day trip to Raudøya.
Florø offers many hiking trails, and a walk or bike ride to Brandsøyåsen is highly recommended.

Kinn

Svanøy Island

Svanøy is accessible by boat from Florø.
