Facilities
19 cabins of a high standard, 16 of which have PlusCamp standard. 3 cabins are handicap accessible. All cabins have a TV and are insulated for winter. The sanitary facilities have a shower, wc and laundry room. Also disabled toilet. You can book cabins and boats in advance, but not pitches for tents or caravans. Changing room for divers with the possibility of cleaning, drying and storing diving equipment. It is designed for gutting, smoking and freezing fish.
There is a family bathing beach here, and nice rocks for swimming for the slightly older ones. Boat rental, snorkelling and diving activities.
The campsite has a kiosk and it is only 2 km to a cafe and restaurant.
Nearby offers
The center of Florø is cozy with a maritime feel. There is a good selection here in all service and trade industries. In the summer, there are many tourist offers such as sea fishing and trips to the islands. There is also a coastal museum here, and there are various hiking trails around the area. 1 km to Havhesten water park.
Florø is easily accessible by plane, boat, bus and car: From Oslo or Trondheim approx. 8 hours by car, from Bergen or Ålesund approx. 4 hours. Express boats from Sognefjorden, Bergen and Selje. Flights from Oslo and Bergen. Express bus connection from Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Ålesund. Hurtigruten stops in Florø on the north and southbound route. The reception is open all year round. Seasonally open reception at the campsite 01.06-31.08.
